PURPOSE: To perform a high precision cladding on the annular groove of a work without eroding or deforming the margin.
CONSTITUTION: In a powder cladding device, by rotating a turntable 1 inclined at a prescribed angle, a work 4 placed on a work receiving base 9 on the turntable 1 is rotated around the axial line so that an annular groove 4a formed on the outer circumferential face of the bevel part at the lower end of the work 4 is built up 8 with a wear resistant alloy, a recessed part 10 is formed on the upper face of the work receiving base 9 such that a margin 4b at least below the annular groove 4a of the work 4 is fitted and stored in the recessed part. A work receiving plate 13 is fitted in the recessed part 10 so that the plate 13 can be moved in the axial direction of the work 4 between the upper limit position where the upper face is nearly flush with that of the work receiving base 9 and the lower end position where the margin 4b of the work 4 can be embedded; and also, in the recessed part 10, a pressing means 15 is provided pressing the work receiving plate 13 upward.
