Title:
POWDER HEAT TRANSFER RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS602387
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To smoothly supply a colored substance in powder heat transfer recording, by a method wherein an insulating porous substance having a pore diameter larger than the particle diameter of a particulate colored substance is fixed to an upper part of a conductive porous substance.

CONSTITUTION: The insulating porous substance 11 is fixed to an upper part of the conductive porous substance 8. The thermal conductivity of the substance 11 is set to be lower than that of the substance 8. The average pore diameter of the porous substances is larger than the particle diameter of the colored substance 6. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the colored substance 6 from being solidified on the substance 11 under the condition wherein Joule heat generated by the substance 8 is shielded by the substance 11. The colored substance 6 supported by the substance 11 is melted by the heat supplied from the substance 8, and the melted colored substance 6 penetrates into the substance 8, thereby enabling continuous printing.
