Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder slush molding machine for manufacturing an integral molding of two layers in a short time without generating bubble in the layers.
SOLUTION: The powder slush molding machine comprises a sheet conveying heating means for conveying a synthetic resin sheet 8a to a rotary frame 2 at an opposite side to a mounting surface of a powder box 4 mounted in the frame 2 and heating it. The machine sets a heated porous electroforming mold 9 on the sheet 8a conveyed onto the frame 2, encloses a periphery of the mold 9 with a chamber 10 connected to a vacuum evacuation unit, vacuum molds the sheet 8a conveyed onto the frame 2 by the mold 9, then inverts the frame 2, charges the powder 5 in the box 4 into the sheet 8a vacuum molded by the mold 9 for powering, and manufactures an integral molding of the two layers of the synthetic resin sheet layer by the vacuum molding and the powder slush molding layer by the slush molding.
