To obtain a powdered dextrose hydrate having high glucose content and high crystal purity and having excellent compressive properties and good flowability.

This powdered dextrose hydrate comprises at least 98% of dextrose, at least 95% of a crystal in α crystal condition and ≥1% of water and has at least 70 N compressibility measured by test A.
