PURPOSE: To obtain a powdery perfume having excellent stabilities in a storage for a long period of time, especially even in a case of strong alkali, by solubilizing or emulsifying a liquid perfume into an aqueous solution of surfactant, mixing resultant solution or emulsion with a substance capable of forming water of crystallization and powderizing.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid perfume is solubilized or emulsified into an aqueous solution of preferably anionic and/or nonionic surfactant, mixed with an anbydrous or partially containing water of crystallization inorganic material (e.g., sodium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, sodium orthophosphate, sodium pyrophosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium borate) and/or organic material (e.g., sodium citrate) which is capable of forming water of crystallization and then powdered.
