PURPOSE: To obtain a powdery fat oil-albumin complex insoluble in water, free from hygroscopicity and having excellent storage stability, by bonding a liquid fat oil with albumin.
CONSTITUTION: Albumen, serum albumin, etc., are dissolved in water. A part of the water may be replaced with a water-soluble solvent such as ethanol, glycerol, etc., in the above dissolution process. There is not restriction in the concentration of the albumin aqueous solution. The liquid fat oil is an oil which is liquid at normal temperature, fat or fatty acid which becomes liquid when heated or dissolved in a solvent or an animal or vegetable containing the above oil. The fat oil is added to the prepared albumin aqueous solution and stirred at high speed. The components are almost completely reacted with each other irrespective of the ratio of the components and a precipitate corresponding to the ratio is produced. The fat oil may be incorporated with vitamin E, etc., as an antioxidant. The precipitate is dried by conventional method to remove the solvent and obtain the objective product.
