Abstract:
To provide a power amplifier for multiple power modes having a low power mode and a high power mode without using a switch for reducing power consumption in the low power mode and elongating operation time of a battery type device.
A power amplifier includes two or more impedance matching units (130, 140, 150, 160), an impedance converter (170), and an electric power stage (120). In a low power mode, the electric power stage (120) is turned off, and a signal is passed through a first impedance matching unit 130 and an impedance converter 170 and transmitted to a forth impedance matching unit 160.
