To execute treatment in a time shorter than heating the whole through the use of a means for executing heating in a considerably small point or a line for smoothly forming a surface where the insulating body of a cable is abutted on a cone-like insulating body at the time of forming a cable connection part.
The insulating body 4 is cut in a prescribed range on a part where the conductor 2 of the cable 1 is exposed and the surface is heat-treated by using a heating device 21 so as to smoothly form it. In the heating device 21, the surface of the insulating body 4 is irradiated with the light of a heating lamp 22 through a concave mirror 23 in the dot form, it is heated, and a heating operation is executed on the whole surface while the focus of the heating device is linearly moved.
