Abstract:
To provide a power conditioning system capable of diagnosing a relay that interconnects an output of a generator to a grid load or an independent load before the generator is started while suppressing an overcurrent from flowing through the relay.SOLUTION: Before starting the generator, a control unit of the power conditioning system charges a capacitor of a DC/AC inverter and then operates the DC/AC inverter to diagnose, with respect to a relay, a control state of the relay and, based on a result of detecting a current or voltage in a connection path of a relay connection circuit, diagnoses whether the relay is normal, welded, or disconnected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
