Abstract:
To provide a three-phase neutral point clamp-type power conversion device capable of suppressing rotation of a motor at the time of discharge of a smoothing capacitor at the time of operation stop.SOLUTION: A three-phase neutral point clamp-type power conversion device 1 makes a voltage command for any one phase of three phases be V*sin(ωt) and makes voltage commands for the other two phases be -V*sin(ωt)/2 at the time of discharge of a first capacitor 12a and second capacitor 12b of a smoothing unit 12, where V is amplitude of the voltage commands and ω is an angular frequency of output voltage at the time of discharge. The amplitude V is determined depending on a detection voltage of the second capacitor 12b when 0≤ωt≤π and is determined depending on a detection voltage of the first capacitor 12a when π≤ωt≤2π. By comparing each of voltage commands for the three phases with a carrier signal, a control device 4 outputs gate signals for a plurality of switching elements of an inverter unit 13 to generate output voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
