Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter that is configured to be compact in size and a power conditioner using the same.SOLUTION: A power conversion circuit 1 has a first conversion circuit 10, an active filter circuit 20 and a second conversion circuit 30. The first conversion circuit 10 varies the magnitude of a DC input voltage V1 applied from a photovoltaic power generator 4 to outputs the thus-varied voltage as a DC first voltage V2. The active filter circuit 20 superimposes on the first voltage V2 a third voltage V3 which is a voltage component opposite to a pulsation component occurring in the first voltage V2 when the first voltage V2 is converted to an AC voltage. The second conversion circuit 30 converts, to a second voltage V4, a voltage obtained by superimposing the third voltage V3 on the first voltage V2.
