PURPOSE: To provide general-purpose service, regardless of the type and grade of an automobile, hardly cause poor electrical continuity at a connection jointed to a power supply (bus bar), and ensure an easy assembly work and the higher reliability of an electrical connection, regarding a power distribution device for an automobile.
CONSTITUTION: This device comprises such a connector holder 3 as formed on a battery tray B or the like and having a plurality of erected interlayer connection tabs 8, stacking connectors E and a power distribution block C. When the connectors E are stacked on the holder 3, the tabs 8 penetrate the upper and lower tab insertion holes 20a and 20b of a terminal housing 20 in the connector E at each layer, and the electrical connecting section of a branch connection terminal 21, thereby jointing and connecting the terminal 21. As a result of stacking the power distribution block C, the tabs 8 pass through tab insertion holes in a cavity 13, and form a pair terminal where the tab 17 of the bus bar is connected to a fusible link.
