Abstract:
Power generation installation (10) has a rotary hydraulic pump (16) driven by the rotation of a wind wheel to generate hydraulic power, hydraulic pump-motors (18, 100) rotated by hydraulic power that is generated by the hydraulic pump, a differential generator (14), and detection means (152, 154) for detecting the difference in the number of rotation between an inner rotor (78) of and an outer rotor (80) of the generator. Hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic pump-motors (18, 100) is regulated so as to maintain the difference in the number of rotation between an inner rotor and outer rotor in a predetermined range based on the difference detected by the detection means. This enables stable output to be achieved independent of the variation of external force.
