To provide a power management system by which the user can have the goal of energy saving familiarly, and a power control server.
The power control server has the output value of a wattmeter from each home input from a wattmeter data input part (S11). Next, it has weather information input from a weather information input part (S12). A controller calculates the degree of cutdown of home power consumption in the same month of this year and the last year (S13), based on the input weather information and the past home power consumption stored in data base. It outputs the calculated degree of cutdown to the corresponding home via a data output part (S14). A display in each home indicates the degree of cutdown of power consumption output from the power control server.
