This power reel is provided with the spool motor 17 of a spool 9 supported by a reel main body 1, an actuator switching the spool 9 to a line reel-up state and a line discharging state by turning ON/OFF a clutch, a line length measuring means measuring the reeling out quantity, a changing quantity detecting means detecting the changing quantity of the main body by waves with respect to the initializing position of the main body 1 at the time of reeling out the device to a prescribed shelf position, a storing means storing the corrected line length value of the line corresponding to the changing quantity of the main body 1, and a reeling out quantity correcting means increasing/reducing the reeling out quantity of the line by the corrected line length value stored in the storing means by controlling the spool motor and the actuator based on the changing quantity of the main body 1 detected by the changing quantity detecting means.
