Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the safety and power saving by sending a power supply interruption signal to each control terminal device when no communication is consecutive for a prescribed time or over so as to interrupt the power and the power supply for a controller. CONSTITUTION:A power supply control section (PC) 11 is provided between control terminal devices (WS) 21, 22 and a private line 3. The power supply control section 11, when a function of the controller 1 has a fault and e.g., if generation of polling is stopped, detects the stopping and sends a power supply interruption command to the terminal devices WS 21, 22... when a prescribed time sufficiently larger than the time designated by a protocol of the system elapses, so as to interrupt POW switches 121, 122 automatically and to interrupt the power of the controller 1. Thus, the safety of each terminal device at the failed controller is kept and waste power consumption is saved.
