Abstract:
To maintain the frequency of a driving signal supplied to a piezoelectric transformer at a resonance frequency of the piezoelectric transformer, for example, even on the occurrence of solid variations of the piezoelectric transformer, a load fluctuation or an environmental variation.
In a power supply device, a control circuit that controls the frequency of an oscillation circuit according to the supply voltage detected by a second detection circuit, sweeps the frequency of the oscillation circuit, and retains the frequency oscillated by the oscillation circuit as the resonance frequency when detecting the minimum voltage out of a plurality of supply voltages detected by the second detection circuit when sweeping the frequency.
