Abstract:
To prevent an electric shock to a human body without using insulation means such as a transformer in a power supply device for a vehicle which is mounted on a vehicle and obtains a low-voltage power supply from a high-voltage power supply via step-down means.SOLUTION: In a configuration in which power is converted from high voltage to low voltage by selectively connecting a predetermined power storage element group to a low voltage electric load from a high voltage power supply formed by connecting power storage elements in series, leakage resistance from a high voltage circuit to the ground is measured during a period when the high voltage circuit is cut off by cutoff means provided between the high voltage power supply and a high voltage electric load, and an electric shock is prevented by cutting off the power supply from the high-voltage power supply to a high-voltage load device when the leakage resistance is equal to or lower than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
