Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost power supply device that can be miniaturized where input current harmonic distortion can be reduced with a simple configuration, power factor can be improved, at the same time, a high voltage can be supplied to a load, a multiple-lamp can be lit especially when the load is a discharge lamp, other discharge lamps can be lit stably even if, at least, one discharge lamp is removed, and input current harmonic distortion can be reduced.
SOLUTION: A series circuit consisting of an inductance element L2, a discharge lamp La1, and a capacitor C5 that greatly contributes to the improvement of input current harmonic distortion and a serves circuit consisting of an inductance element L3, a discharge lamp La2, and a capacitor C7 that greatly contributes to the improvement of input current harmonic distortion are connected in parallel with both terminals of a secondary coil winding n2 of one boosting transformer T1. Further, the capacitors C5 and C7 that greatly contribute to the improvement in input current harmonic distortion are connected to both terminals of a primary coil winding n1 of the boosting transformer T1.
