PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make hybrid the overhead power line of an electric motor vehicle for running in an AC section.SOLUTION: An electric power source system 1A to be carried on an AC electric motor vehicle is constituted by connecting a battery 60A through a high-speed circuit breaker BHB and a bidirection chopper 42 with a main conversion circuit 30A for feeding drive power to a main motor 4, a stationary type inverter 41A connected with the DC link of the main conversion circuit 30A for feeding electric power to an accessory equipment, and a DC link portion of the main conversion circuit 30A.
