Abstract:
To provide a power tool capable of facilitating operator's recognition of a depth of a hole reaching a predetermined depth.
The power tool includes: a main cover 2; a motor 4 that is housed in the main cover 2 and drives a tip tool 8 for processing a member 10 to be processed; an intermediate shaft 5 and a cylinder 6 housed in the main cover 2 and transmits a driving force of the motor 4 to the tip tool 8; a distance sensor 24 that is stored in the main cover 2 and detects a distance to the member 10 to be processed; and a light source 25 that is housed in the main cover 2 and that shows predetermined information to the member 10 to be processed when a distance detected by the distance sensor 24 reaches a predetermined value.
