Abstract:
To provide a more appropriate control method of detecting foreign objects using a Q-value based on a power transmission waveform of a power transmission coil when the power transmission is stopped.SOLUTION: In a power transmission device, a control unit wirelessly transmits power to a power reception device via a power transmission coil, measures a Q value of the power transmission coil in a time domain, and determines presence or absence of an object (foreign object) different from the power reception device based on the Q value measured in the time domain and a reference value of the Q value based on information obtained from the power reception device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
