Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the arrangement space of a generator and a motor in the direction orthogonal to a rotary shaft of the generator and an output shaft of the motor.
SOLUTION: In a power transmission comprising a power synthesizing mechanism 7 connected to the motor 9 and the generator 6 in a power transmitting manner and a transmission mechanism 8 for changing the rotational speed of the motor 9 and transmitting it to the power synthesizing mechanism 7, an arrangement area L2 of the motor 9 does not overlap an arrangement area L1 of the generator 6 in the axial direction of the output shaft 24 of the motor 9 and the rotary shaft 17 of the generator 9.
