Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute working at a high speed by preventing an a damped vibration of a discharge current by turn-on and turn-off of a switching circuit which has been connected in parallel between poles and raising a frequency of an intermittent discharge. CONSTITUTION:When a distance between poles has been turned on by a discharge control means 9 which has been connected in parallel between poles, an interpole current is eliminated and a damped vibration current is obstructed, and when the distance between poles has been turned off, this turn-off time is controlled shortly and an interpole discharge frequency is increased. Also, when the distance between poles has been turned on, a constant-current means 10 detects a short-circuit current between poles, limits a flowing current to prescribed magnitude and obstructs energy consumption of a DC power source. In such a way, a working speed can be improved.
