To improve cooling performance of a radiator while properly assuring a space for routing a cooling hose of the radiator, in a power unit in which the radiator is provided to the side part of an engine body.
In a power unit for a small vehicle where a radiator 17 is fitted to the side part of an engine body 19, the radiator 17 is cooled by a cooling fan 66 provided to an end part of a crankshaft of the engine body 19. A radiator core 102 of the radiator 17 is so arranged as to face a travel direction. A first water hose 120 to which the radiator 17 and the engine body 19 are connected is introduced to the engine body 19 from the front part of the radiator 17 while a second water hose 122 introduced to it from the rear part of the radiator 17. The first water hose 120 positioned behind the radiator 19 is introduced above a connection opening 119 to the radiator 17 for connecting to the engine body 19.
