Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit linked to a circuit where the wave distortion of the output current of an inverter circuit is suppressed and besides higher efficiency than that of conventional one can be obtained, by controlling the objective value of boost of a boosting circuit to an always optimum value, regardless of the ripple of circuit voltage.
SOLUTION: A DC power source 1 is linked to a commercial power system 8 through an inverter 20, and the inverter 20 is provided with a boosting circuit 2 and an inverter circuit 3. At the latter stage of the inverter circuit 3, a current detector 5 and a voltage detector 41 are connected, and a control circuit 6 makes the objective voltage of boost, based on the voltage detection signal V2 from the voltage detector 41, and adjusts the boosting ratio of the boosting circuit 2 so that the output voltage of the boosting circuit 2 may come close to that objective voltage of boost. Moreover, the control circuit 6 can make the objective voltage of boost, based on the current detection signal 1 from the current detector 5.
