Abstract:

To provide a transformed yeast capable of easily screening a PPAR active substance and a microorganism producing a PPAR active substance.

The transformation yeast of the present invention is a transformation yeast detecting a substance activating a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) and allows detection of a substance activating PPAR without inserting a transcriptional coactivator vector into the yeast and with inserting a transcription factor-PPAR ligand binding site fusion protein expression vector and a reporter gene expression vector.
