Abstract:
To provide a noble metal adsorbent which can be easily taken out by tilting a container even when the noble metal adsorbent includes water to thereby expand.SOLUTION: A noble metal adsorbent is provided, which includes a fiber body partly having a different shape portion, and the content of the fiber body is 90% or more by weight of the total amount of the adsorbent. The fiber body is a cotton-like or sheet-like fiber body, and a portion thereof is preferably a fiber body fixed in a laminated state of partly having two or more layers. A noble metal recovery method has a step for allowing a solution in which the noble metal is dissolved to be brought into contact with the noble metal adsorbent to recover the noble metal dissolved by the adsorbent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
