Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since an auxiliary rigid member is fitted to a longitudinal rib on a cross beam, fillet welding work can not be performed quickly. SOLUTION: In this pre-fabricated steel base plate girder, the top end of a longitudinal rib formed by a CT steel positioned between main beams formed by two pieces of H-shape steel and on both outsides thereof and angled steel positioned on both end edges thereof is joined to the top face of a deck plate formed by a steel plate of a suitable size with a thickness of 16 mm or more by fillet welding. The main deck plate and a flange on the main beam are joined by fillet welding work, and a cross beam formed by channel steel is joined to the main beam web through the auxiliary rigid member welded to the main beam web by a high strength bolt. A flange of the longitudinal rib is bolted on the top face of the cross beam flange.
