To provide a preform for molding a container which can mold the container having a good appearance by preventing a trace of contact of an extension member from appearing on a molded container body part when a preform is blow-molded into a cup-like or a pot-like container shape, a container by molding such a preform, and to provide a manufacturing method of the container.
In the range from a portion X1 where the extension member 20 is contacted first in molding to the portion X2 just before arriving at a mold clamp holding part 3, the area of the cross section S which cuts the extension part 2 along the peripheral direction so that cut edges are perpendicularly intersected with respect to the intersection line L of plane P including a central axis C of the extension part 2a and a preform inner curved surface contacting to the extension member 20 of the extension part 2a is almost constant or the wall thickness distribution of the extension part 2 is adjusted so that the extension member 20 becomes the largest one in the portion X1 contacting first.
