Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for preliminary treatment of raw materials to be sintered which facilitates classification, is easily capable of pelletization of minus sieve and improves the air permeability at the time of sintering and productivity.
CONSTITUTION: The whole or a part of the granular raw materials 10 to be sintered are classified at a classification point of 2 to 5mm in such a manner that the minus sieve efficiency and plus sieve efficiency determined from a relation with a product yield are attained. Pseudo particles 22 are formed by pelletization of the minus sieve raw materials 25 to be sintered and thereafter these pseudo particles 22, the plus sieve raw materials 24 to be sintered and the remaining raw materials 10 which are to be sintered and are not sieved and/or other granular raw materials 11, 13 to be sintered are mixed and pelletized to form the pseudo particles.
