Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an amine compound useful as an intermediate for physiologi cally active substances such as medicines and agrochemicals and for specialty chemical derivatives by allowing a compound having a specific structure to react with a peroxycarbamate compound in the presence of a copper catalyst.
SOLUTION: A peroxycarbamate compound of formula I[X does not exit, or is a (substituted) benzene ring or a (substituted) naphthalene ring; R1 is H or a 1-6C alkyl; R2 is H, a 1-6C alkoxy or the like] (for example, ethylbenzene or 4-chloroethylbenzene) is allowed to react with a peroxycarbamate compound of formula II [W1 and W2 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl, (substituted) phehyl or the like; Z is H or a 1-6C alkyl] [for example, t-buthylperoxy N-(paratoluenesulfonyl)carbamate] in the presence of a copper catalyst (for example, cuprous trifluoromethanesulfonate) preferably at -25 to 50°C for 0.1 to 1,000 hr.
