Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve water and fertilizer-retentivities by spray-drying a slurry to form a given size of pellets by granulation and subjecting the resultant pellets biscuit firing so that they are made roundish suitably.
CONSTITUTION: In the granulation step, a slurry is spray-dried at 400 - 500°C to obtain pellets of a given size. Then in the biscuit firing step, the pellets are fired at 700 - 1,200°C to obtain the title conditioner with numberless minute pores formed.
