PURPOSE: To obtain films, fibers, etc. having smooth recesses, e.g. a hemispherical form, on the surface, and improved delustering effects, smoothness, drapeability, feeling, etc., by adding a specific amont of a special fluorine-containing polymer to a thermoplastic polymer, and melt molding the resultant mixture.

CONSTITUTION: 1W12wt%, preferably 3W10wt%, fluorine-containing polymer, having no compatibility with a thermoplastic resin, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, and having a metl viscosity ≥105 poises near the melting temperature, which is crystalline and has the glass transition temperature <150°C, preferably polychlorotrifluoroethylene, is added to the thermoplastic resin before the completion of the polymerization. The resultant composition is then melt molded into films, fibers, etc.

EFFECT: Improved dyeability, water retaining, wicking, stretch-breaking and raising properties.
