Abstract:
To obtain an antigenic prescribed substance useful in the immunotherapy, especially in the field of vaccines and capable of deflecting the cellular immunity (TH1)-humoral immunity (TH2) balance so as be favorable for the TH1 response.
This prescribed substance has (A) an antigen, (B) an adjuvant inducing TH1 and (C) a poorly water-soluble amino acid or its derivative. The substance is obtained by mixing a solution of the antigen and the adjuvant capable of inducing the TH1 with a solution of the poorly soluble amino acid or its derivative in an aqueous solution of a strong acid, neutralizing the mixed solution of the solutions during that time and thereby coprecipitating the poorly soluble amino acid with the antigen and adjuvant.
