PURPOSE: To obtain the titled composition having improved shelf stability, improved adhesiveness and extremely improved cohesive force without lowering repulsion resistance, by adding a solvent having dielectric constant of ≥ a fixed value to a water dispersion of a specific acrylic copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A water dispersion of an acrylic polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture which comprises (i) 90W99.5wt% monomer consisting essentially of 1W14C alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid and (ii) 10W0.5wt% ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid and provides a copolymer having ≤250°k glass transition temperature in a water medium is blended with (B) preferably 0.1W20pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. component A of a solvent having ≥80 dielectric constant to give the aimed composition. N-Methylacetamide, (N-methyl) formaldehyde and/or ethylene carbonate is preferable as the component B.
