PURPOSE: To provide the subject adhesive comprising three specified acrylate copolymers having specified K values and a phthalic ester, being excellent in tear-off with a fleece machine, self-adhesiveness, cold settability, etc., and being useful in cloth embroidery, etc.

CONSTITUTION: There is provided the objective adhesive containing 0-90 wt.% acrylic copolymer made from 10-60 wt.% 2-8C alkyl acrylate and having a K value (after Fikentscher) of 50-110, 10-80 wt.% N-methylolmethacrylamide copolymer made from a 4-6C alkyl acrylate and 1-10 wt.% acrylic acid and having a K value of 70-130, 0-90 wt.% acrylic copolymer made from 20-80 wt.% 4-8C alkyl acrylate and 1-10 wt.% ethyl acrylate and having a K value of 80-130 and 0-25% 2-12C alkyl phthalate.
