Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a food from swelling, etc., due to the delamination caused by air expansion by placing a paper container after sealing the food therein in a pressure vessel, pressurizing the interior of the vessel and then performing the control over the expansion rate of air contained in the interfacial part between the paper layer of the paper container and a waterproof sheet layer in a decompressing process. SOLUTION: A food is sealed in a paper container 1 prepared by forming a waterproof sheet layer from a paper having the waterproof sheet layer provided on at least one surface thereof toward the interior of the container and the paper container 1 after sealing the food therein is then placed in a pressure container 12. The interior of the pressure container 12 is subsequently pressurized and the control over the expansion rate of air contained in the paper layer of the paper container 1 or the interfacial part between the paper layer and the waterproof sheet layer is subsequently performed at preferably 3.8-6 l/min.mol in a decompressing process to prevent the delamination caused by the air expansion.
