Title:
PREVENTION AGAINST OVERTURNING FOR ARRANGED MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10323250
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To surely prevent the overturning of an arranged material in vibration by an earthquake by providing a lock part in the top part of the arranged material arranged on a floor, locking a support wire suspended from a ceiling to a lock part so as to support it in its tensile state.

While ring and hook lock parts 2 are attached to four parts in both front/rear sides of the top face of an arranged material 1, a lock part 4 is attached to a ceiling. The lock part 4 is preferable to be attached to a beam or the top part of a column where a large support force can be obtained. The lock part 2 of the arranged material 1 and the lock part 4 of the ceiling are connected by a support wire 5, and the wire 5 is adjusted by a wire tie such as a turnbuckle so as to tense and support, the arranged material 1. A frictional material such as rubber which makes the floor hard to be slipping by the frictional resistance is preferably attached to the bottom of the arranged material as necessary. The arranged material 1 is thus tensely supported from the ceiling by the support wire 5 so that when an earthquake occurs, the arranged material 1 may be vibrated but prevented from being moved or overturned.
