Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a primer compsn. well suited for bonding to elastic liners, by mixing aromatic polyisocyanates, silicone-modified polyisocyanates, diallyl phthalate resins, chlorine-contg. compds., and org. solvents.

CONSTITUTION: About 3W30wt% aromatic polyisocyanate contg. isocyanurate rings or urethane bonds in the molecule, about 1W30wt% silicone-modified polyisocyanate compd. modified by silicone compds. having at least equimolar hadrolyzable functional groups in relation to the -NCO equivalent, about 1W 20wt% (silicone-modified) diallyl phthalate resin, 0.1W10wt% chlorine-contg. compd. (e.g., chlorinated polyethylene), and org. solvents (e.g., ethyl acetate) are mixed to yield the intended primer compsn. Said compsn. is well suited for bonding of elastic liners to mortar, glass, etc.
