Abstract:

To provide a method in which appropriate shift of charging to an electrode Yas from an electrode X is guaranteed regardless of a type of phosphor of a cell in a plasma display panel.

In a priming phase period, the excessive charging to at least one phosphor is avoided by differentiating voltages for charging applied between the electrodes X and Yas of the cell on at least two types of phosphors.
