Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent deletion of job data while a user is unaware.SOLUTION: A print control apparatus 10, including a storage zone for storing job data in accordance with a storage instruction, the job data transmitted from a data processing device 30, includes: storage zone determination means 140 (1) for determining whether a spare space of the storage zone capable of storing the job data has reached a given reference value; job deletion candidate selection means 140 (2) for selecting a deletion candidate job to be deleted from stored jobs in the storage zone in a case where the storage zone determination means determines that the spare space of the storage zone capable of storing the job data is less than the reference value; job deletion notification means 140 (3) for notifying a relevant user of an event that the job selected as the deletion candidate job is to be deleted; and job data deletion means 140 (4) for deleting the relevant job data from the storage zone under the condition of a response from the relevant job user responding to the notification.
