The client machines 5A and 5B prepare print job data, the print server machine 2 receives them and distributes the print job to a plurality of printers 3A and 3B to be performed. A user refers to the print information inside the print server machine 2 by using WWW browsers of the client machines 5A and 5B. Also, when the performance of the print job is completed or a printer error occurs, the print server machine 2 automatically reports that to the client server machines 5A and 5B.
