To simply and accurately measure the remaining amount of a printer paper still in use by providing a graduation representing the remaining amount on a side face of a printer paper for a handy terminal.

A graduation 10 representing the remaining amount is printed on the side face of a roll of a printer paper 20. The remaining amount measuring graduation 10 is constituted of graduations 11, 12 and 13-1 N. The graduations 11, 12 and 13-1 N are formed of a plurality of circles of different diameters concentrically printed along the circumference of the side face of the roll, and figures representing the remaining amount of the printer papers corresponding to the diameters are displayed on respective circles. In the above constitution, when the remaining amount of the printer paper is measured, the remaining amount can be read accurately by utilizing the figures representing the remaining amounts of the graduations 11, 12 and 13-1 N for measuring the remaining amount on the side face of the roll-shaped printer paper 20.
