The printer capable of performing consecutive printing to rolled recording paper and cut paper is provided with a radio communication part in a core tube for taking up already printed recording paper, so as to store already recorded printing setting in the core tube. Furthermore, a mark is printed at a printing data finish position when printing. When cutting, the position of the mark is read, and cut size of each page is corrected from the printing setting stored in the core tube and the position information of the mark, and the paper is cut.
