PURPOSE: To prevent dust from entering a cassette without losing simplicity of design by a method wherein an opaque ink sheet cassette door is provided in front of an ink sheet cassette and further, a large door is provided in front of this ink sheet cassette door and a paper cassette.

CONSTITUTION: An opaque ink sheet cassette door 1 is provided in front of an ink sheet cassette 7 and further, a large door 10 is provided in front of this ink sheet cassette door 11 and a paper cassette 9. Thereby, even though the large door 10 is opened when recording paper is broken or when the recording paper is exchanged, dust does not enter the ink sheet cassette 7 and further, the appearance and design of a printer can be simplified to obtain a smart printer.
