PURPOSE: To obtain a printer having a movable-type hopper and capable of printing with high printing quality even when paper size is changed, by a construction wherein a pair of driving feed rollers are slidably fitted to driving shafts, and arms provided respectively for a pair of hoppers slide the driving feed rollers on the driving shafts.
CONSTITUTION: Even when the size of slips 5b is changed and a side plate 22 is moved in a transverse direction A or B orthogonal to a feeding direction, each of rollers 28, 30a, 30b is moved in the direction A or B together with the side plate 22. Since the side plate 22 is provided on either side in the transverse direction of the slips 5b, the slip 5b is always driven by having left and right end parts thereof clamped between upper and lower feeding rollers 30a, 30b, irrespective of the change in the size of the slips 5b. Therefore, feeding forces exerted on the slip 5b on the left and right sides are always balanced, so that skewing or wrinkling of the slip 5b is prevented, and stable high printing quality can be obtained.
