Abstract:
To provide a method for always securing a printing history preservation area by limiting the number of protects of the history and avoiding the situation that the printing history does not remain.
In a printer which can preserve and protect the printing history, the number of protects of the history in the printing history is limited, and the upper limit of the numbers which can be protected is made to be less the number which enables the printing history, to be preserved and at least one of the numbers is made to be able to update the printing history.
