Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently jobs following a printable job in spooling by changing a schedule so that the printable job in spooling is executed precedently by analyzing printing interruption factor.
SOLUTION: Print data received from a host computer 201 are spooled in order, job by job, and the spooled printing data are analyzed and printed by the jobs. If a printing process for printing which are spooled precedently is interrupted, the printing interruption factor is analyzed and the execution schedule of respective spool jobs is so changed that a job for printing data which are spooled and can be printed continuously is executed precedently. When more than one job can be spooled, the printing interruption factor of the precedent job is analyzed when a job which has no effect on following jobs is spooled, the schedule is changed so that the following jobs can be processed in order, thereby greatly improving the throughput of the respective jobs.
