Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a printer to be connected with different host devices via different interface parts simultaneously, and to select a interface receiving data automatically.
CONSTITUTION: A data conversion part 4 is equipped with a control part 5 which converts print data received in different formats from interface parts 2, 3 to a specified format and makes the data print-able after receiving the formatted data through a data bus 6. Consequently, data signal from the host computer can be received and printed without selection between the interface parts.
